We are pleased to announce a functional update for the Mercedes-Benz W447 Multibeam LED Headlights Retrofit Adapter — developed in response to feedback from our customers.
The latest version now supports Mercedes-Benz Metris and Mercedes-Benz Vito vehicles that are not equipped with the CAN-G bus, necessary for adaptive headlights retrofit.
Driven by Customer Needs
Previously, customers who wanted to retrofit Multibeam LED headlights on vehicles without CAN-G had to use a two-step solution:
- Install the Mercedes-Benz W447 LED HeadLights Retrofit Adapter, which converted the CAN-G bus protocol.
- Then install the Mercedes-Benz W447 Multibeam LED Headlights Retrofit Adapter to enable full functionality.
This made the installation process more complex and required additional components.
What’s changed?
With this update, the Mercedes-Benz W447 Multibeam LED Headlights Retrofit Adapter now:
- includes built-in protocol conversion necessary for multibeam headlamps
- works directly in vehicles without CAN-G bus on ignition switch module EZS
- eliminates the need for the additional adapter
- simplifies installation and reduces setup time
