Functions of CIC retrofit adapter are:

• The video in motion function VIM, which allows passengers to view video while car in motion.
• Activation of navigation function in CIC without expensive FSC code ,allows you to activate the navigation for retrofitting CIC in car in which this retrofit not provided.
• Adaptation of communication protocol between CIC unit and parking aid module PDC without necessity of exchange expensive junction box module JBE and parking sensors wiring modification.
• Adaptation of communication protocol between CIC unit and pre-facalifted reverse camera RFK .
• Emulation of OEM rear view camera system TRSVC, allows to install any aftermarket rear view camera without using LVDS switching boxes.The graphic display of visual PDC warnings remains active and is shown on the display CID.

The module is very easy to install, saves considerable time and money in CIC system retrofitting or conversions.This module also applies to BMW cars produced after 2009 , to activate video in motion and retrofit non-OEM rear view camera (we recomend to install Kenwood CMOS-300 or CMOS-200 cameras).
